Nettlecombe Farm Weekend Retreats 2016

March 11-13th

October 7-9th

For the past few years I have been blessed to be able to offer two annual retreats here on the Isle of Wight at Nettlecombe Farm, during the glorious months of March and October and this year is no exception.

This stunning rural location welcomes us back for a Spring and Autumn gathering and invites participants to invest in a weekend for themselves, to reflect and take time out from the demands of daily life and to immerse in all aspects of the practice. As this process unfolds, what naturally takes place is a gentle sense of letting go and opening, which allows the alchemy of yoga to take place and our true nature to shine through.

There will be around twelve hours of practice offered throughout the weekend.

The practice will commence on Friday afternoon with an introduction and an Asana session before enjoying our first supper together and ends on Sunday after Brunch.
During the weekend we will explore working with the breath through Pranayama, deepening our practice of the Asana and exploring Meditation techniques, as well as enjoying a silent walk, yoga dance (optional) and generally having fun through the practice.
Massage, Angelic Reiki healing and other treatments will be available throughout the weekend.

The Spring retreat will give us the opportunity to weave in the energy of New Beginnings, projecting into a positive conceptual future and laying the foundations for the warm season ahead.

The Autumn retreat will be an opportunity to focus on Gathering and Harvesting the energy, as we move towards the colder season when we hibernate and reflect to emerge after the winter into a new Spring.

A full programme of the weekend will be available closer to the time of each retreat.

Both retreats are open to all levels of practice whether you are beginning on your yoga path or have years of experience, we are all here to inspire one another.
It is my desire and promise to work with everyone on a personal and a group level with integrity and joy.

Our food is lovingly prepared and cooked by my Mum and her partner in the main cottage and is vegetarian, healthy and nutritious, this adds to the family flavour of my retreats and is always deeply appreciated by all.

We can cater for special dietary requirements as long as these are requested in advance
